Which investment option should I choose?

There are three key factors you should consider when you choose an investment option for your super:

  1. How long you’re investing for (in other words, how far you are from retirement).
  2. Whether you’d like to actively manage your investment options or let the professionals handle it.
  3. How comfortable you are with risk and balancing risk with potential returns.

Members who don’t want to actively manage their investments may want to look at our Diversified Investment Options, while those who want to take a higher degree of control over their super portfolio may wish to invest in Direct Investments, which include shares listed in the S&P/ASX300 index, as well as a range of ETFs, LICs and Hybrids.
