How do I sign up for access to the Superhero Adviser Platform?

In order to sign up for the Superhero Adviser Platform you must complete the three steps below;

  1. Sign up for an individual user account with Superhero at app.superhero.com.au 
  2. Complete the Licensee Registration Form and send the completed form and supporting documents to adviser@superhero.com.au
    1. If there are multiple advisers who wish to register from your Licensee, this form only needs to be completed and returned once per Licensee.
  3. Complete the Adviser Registration Form and send the completed form and supporting documents to adviser@superhero.com.au

Once your application has been reviewed and approved, we will send you an email with a link to the adviser platform. You will be able to log in with your individual account credentials.

Client Authority and Fee Consent

To add a client, you must complete and return the Adviser Authority Form, and if relevant, the Fee Consent Form for Share Trading and/or Superhero Super, depending on the accounts the adviser wishes to access.

What features does the Superhero Adviser Platform offer?

The Superhero Adviser Platform provides financial advisers with the ability to view their client’s Superhero accounts and/or transact on behalf of client’s accounts.

The Adviser Platform is available for both Share Trading accounts of all entity types (individual, company, minor) and for Superhero Super accounts.

The key features of the Adviser Platform are:

  1. Client Dashboard: View a list of all clients, their balances and their performance.
  2. Investments Dashboard: View a list of holdings across all clients, how many clients hold each security and the performance of the security across all clients.
  3. Client View: Select a client’s name to access their account, where you can view their detailed holdings and performance, invest on their behalf (if you have transact access), download reports and view their activity.
  4. Reports: Download a report for your entire client portfolio, or individual reports for each client.
  5. Adviser Details: View your adviser contact and business details, which your clients will also see on their account.

Adviser Fees: Get paid for fees relating to the services provided through the Superhero Adviser Platform with the option for either ongoing or one-off fees at an account level.

What are the fees for the Superhero Adviser Platform?

There are no fees for using the Superhero Adviser Platform. All fees that apply to the Superhero platform are listed in the Superhero Fee Schedule for Share Trading accounts and the Superhero Super Product Disclosure Statement for Superhero Super accounts.

If you transact on behalf of a client, any applicable fees will be charged to the client’s account.

If you wish to charge fees relating to the services provided through the Superhero Adviser Platform you must complete and return the Fee Consent Form for Share Trading and/or Superhero Super to advisers@superhero.com.au.

How do I add a new client through the Superhero Adviser Platform?

To add a client, the adviser must complete and return the Adviser Authority Form, and if relevant, the Fee Consent Form for Share Trading and/or Superhero Super, depending on the accounts the adviser wishes to access. Make sure you specify each account you would like access to if your client has multiple Superhero accounts (e.g. Individual, Minor, Superhero Super).

Once authority has been approved, you and your client will receive a notification from Superhero and the client will be added to your list of clients in your Superhero Adviser Platform Dashboard. 

You can then click on the client name to view the client’s account(s) and/or transact on behalf of the client depending on the approved level of access you requested in the Adviser Authority form.

Can I charge my client service fees through Superhero?

Yes, if you wish to charge fees relating to the services provided through the Superhero Adviser Platform you must complete and return the Fee Consent Form for Share Trading and/or Superhero Super to advisers@superhero.com.au. 

Fees are charged at an account level and can be either a one-off or ongoing fee. Ongoing fees will need to be renewed every 12 months, we will contact you when this is required.

Adviser fees are limited to an initial or transactional fee of up to $5,500 in one-off fees per annum or 2.50% of the account balance for ongoing fees.

What if I don’t have an active mobile number on file?

If your mobile number is incorrect or missing from your account, you’ll need to verify your identity before we can update it.

How to update your mobile number

To update your mobile number, please email us at super@superhero.com.au with the following details:

  • Your full name
  • Your date of birth
  • Your current email address
  • Your residential address
  • Your existing mobile number (if you have one to update)
  • Your new mobile number to be used
  • Your Superhero Super account number OR your previous super fund account number (if known)
  • A selfie of you holding a valid government-issued photo ID
  • A photo of the back of your driver’s licence (for verification purposes)

Once we’ve verified your details, we’ll update your mobile number and provide instructions on how to access your account.

Which accounts can I manage for my clients through the Superhero Adviser Platform?

The Superhero Adviser Platform is available for all types of accounts that Superhero offers:

Share Trading

  1. Individual
  2. Minor
  3. Company (incl. Trust/SMSF)

Superhero Super

  1. Superhero Super
  2. Superhero Retirement
  3. Superhero Transition to Retirement
  4. Superhero MySuper

How do I change my client fees charged through the Superhero Adviser Platform?

If you wish to change the fees relating to the services provided through the Superhero Adviser Platform you must complete and return the Fee Consent Form for Share Trading and/or Superhero Super to advisers@superhero.com.au.

How do I login to the Superhero Adviser Platform?

If you have been granted access to the Superhero Adviser Platform you will be able to log in to the platform here.

You will use the credentials that you set up when you first set up an individual Superhero user account to log in to both the Superhero app and the Superhero Adviser Platform.

Can I give another person from my company access to my clients through the Superhero Adviser Platform?

Currently Superhero only provides access to the Adviser Platform for the individual adviser who is authorised to provide relevant services to the client as declared in the Adviser Registration Form.
